Raül Refree (Barcelona, 1976) is a composer, musician, and producer.
After beginning in the independent music scene with bands such as Corn Flakes, Élena, and Sitcom, he went on to build a solid solo career with albums like Els invertebrats, La otra mitad, and El espacio entre. Recognized as one of the most innovative figures in the music scene, he has worked with artists such as Rosalía, Guitarricadelafuente, C. Tangana, Niño de Elche, Rodrigo Cuevas, Kiko Veneno, Amaia Romero, Silvia Pérez Cruz, La M.O.D.A., Gianna Nannini, Lina, and Lee Ranaldo, among others, as well as with film directors Los Javis and Isaki Lacuesta.
His projects blend flamenco, electronic music, singer-songwriter traditions, and contemporary music. Both his own work and his productions stand out for their artistic sensitivity and their ability to open new expressive paths. Over a twenty-year career, he has received numerous awards, including the Ciutat de Barcelona Award, the Gaudí Award, the Latin Grammy Award, and the Spanish Academy of Music Award.
In 2025, he published his first book, Cuando todo encaja, with Penguin Random House.
